A quiet bolt hole for 2, the Commander's Caravan is the perfect place for quiet weekends away, romantic celebrations, resting and recharging away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
A stay with us is about disconnecting with the daily grind, the constant noise and to do lists, it's about reconnecting, with your traveling companion, yourself and the nature around us!
Small but perfectly formed, we hope the Commander's Caravan has everything needed for a relaxing getaway. When building, we re- used, re-purposed and recycled as much as possible so you will find so old ( but importantly functional) features in the shepherds hut. From its hulking great old cast iron rayburn to its modern 12v solar power system, we hope it has blended old and new technologies into a fun, comfy and cosy space.

Please note the Commander’s Caravan is off grid and there is no mains electric and there is no wifi or TV! Sometime our UK weather can be pretty dire- while we try to keep a continual power supply the lights may occasionally go out in prolonged grey/ dull weather!
